Gotta agree with @human3rror on this one – definitely beats everything else I've read today.

I'll jump on the "best read of the day" bandwagon, too.
Really great post, Chris. You are making the rest of us dads look bad… Uh, I mean, you are really helping teach the rest of us dads a thing or two.
    Thanks, Bubba

Most good lessons in life happen in a Sam's Club food court. Often they consist of something like "don't get the fish," but this is a good one too.

while I could flatter your continued improvement in expressing your thoughts, I am far too distracted by

    "Since I’m a cream colored guy" &
"I'm nerdy in the extreme, whiter than sour cream"

Well written! Good job Uncle Chris!! I think Christian is very comfortable with his skin color, as he pointed out to me a couple summers ago at the pool that I "was the ugly kind of white" because I am so pasty! LOL Gotta love that kid!

Hilarious. We need to teach this boy some respect. Instead, he should be saying "You're nerdy in the extreme, whiter than sour cream."

Um, please correct my typos, people. If I'm ever going to be discovered by a world famous publishing firm and swept away on an all-expense paid vacation to Hawaii so that I can work on my first manuscript, I'm going to need your help.

    Chris,
You write some really compelling stuff and in a way that is attention grabbing. I hope someday you will write a book (and then give me a free copy ;-) )

    Chris,
I just love Christian. He is an amazing kid. I was reading one of the Potter books to him once. He had me start "where Uncle left off." He snuggled up to me as I read. A few pages later he said,"You're a great reader. First is my uncle, but you're second." He has a lot of reason to be angry at life. But through his mom's love and you and Dewdette being the embodiment of Christ he is an amazing little guy. I hope to see him again soon.
