It has been inflamed a few times since the incident, but never as bad as it was that day. To hear that that your uvula is 1 inch longer than normal, for over 3 years, is a bit startling. I would seek out physician that specializes in this sort of thing and seek counsel. As a side note, I know of people who have had their uvula removed (laser) to reduce snoring.
